At the moment I only have 14 of them and they are lying on my desk waiting to be put somewhere nice. I think a pretty box will do for the moment.
I move at the end of the year, then I will hang them on the wall in my hallway around a large world map . On the world map, I will mark all places
where I sent or from where I received poscards. I think that will be cool... As the hallway is quite spacious, there's enough space for many, many
more! |

My son had a class at the library for making a mosaic box. He decided it would be perfect for our cards...he is right! Looks nice and has plenty of
space for now. |

So far, I'm keeping all of my postcards in a nice photo box that I got on sale. I don't have any received cards yet, but when I start getting them, I
think I'm going to try the photo album idea. Lot's of great ideas in this thread! |

I now store my postcard in regular plastic sleeves in a three ring binder, two per page. And found a way to show front and back without using any
glue.
Though I'm probably not the only who uses this method, I thought I might share for those who want to try.
On a nice piece of colored paper (my country's standard is letter size), I place two postcards and draw their outlines. Then I make three diagonal
cuts on each corner. Like this:

Then I cut the edges from the inner cut. In the end the hole has to look like this:

Tuck the cards into the corner so that the front looks like this:

and the back like this:

Put the page into a plastic sleeve, then inside a binder, and you have a nice album that looks like this:

No glue required, though you have to be careful when you cut the page.
Edit: I put the same phoito twice... >.< |

Storage
I found this amazing old fashioned hat box type thing at Barnes and Noble. It has all these vintage pictures of the different major cities around the
world with an old fashioned clasp. I put them all in there : ) |

This is a great idea, but you are WAY more patient than I am. I tried this and it works perfectly fine but I would probably murder someone from
frustration if I had to do this for every single one of my cards!

Thank you for sharing this! I just try to make one and love it! Easy to make and very handy way to store my cards. Thank you so much! |

most of cards are in boxes, but my current favourites I put on the wall, inspired by the postcard tree I've seen here

Blackthornhiei, how nice!!!
In Holland they sell plastic sheets, split in two, those are great, because almost every card fits!

Mine are currently in a photo album but the sheets are transparent. D:
I would really like to find one where there sheets are transparent and where I can also have a space to write where they're from/when they arrived. It
seems impossible to find though. |

Currently stored in a box, but I'd like to make an album when I start reaching higher numbers. |

I love seeing how other people store their cards. Storing them in a photo album seems to be fairly common!
I use a photo album but all my postcards are glued down (sad face) because i thought that was a good idea to begin with so now I can't read what has
been written, but now I just 'blutack' them into place so whenever I fancy reading them, I can! |

I actually use plastic containers which originally are intended for food. Currently I use two (dimension: 24 x 17 x 7 cm :p): one for postcards I
received and one for the postcards available to send. What I like about them is that I can stack them up, and they belong to a series, so in the
future I can always buy one with a larger capacity (but still stackable to the ones I already have). I'm thinking of buying a larger and taller one so
I can store my postcards standing up, because then it'll be easier for me to go through them.
And since I have a little bit of OCD (nah, just kidding, but I do like organizing, like, A LOT, to the point of annoying my sister every once in a
while), I'm planning on putting labels on each container in the future, sorted chronologically. :p |

I usually keep my postcards in nice boxes but the most beautiful or my favourite ones I display at work on the noticeboard (I use magnets so that the
postcards are not damaged). My colleagues are excited when they see such a number of postcards and often ask me if I have any new postcards to show

I've got my postcards split between three places since I own so many. I've got them on a photo board I made, stored in photo boxes, and hung up on
magnet boards. |

I have most of them in boxes, but some of my favourites I put on a magnet board and change them frequently. I also bought an album, but I don't like
it for one reason - I like to hold cards in my hand and it's hard to take them out of the album. |

I keep my collection in binders in pages meant for postcards. It's good enough but they have to stay stored on the top shelf of the closet. As I get
new ones for that collection I hold them to the side and when I get enough I add them to the permanent collection and get to go through all of them
again. The tradables I put in photo boxes. I was using boxes specifically for postcards, but they aren't tall enough for the separators I think.
My postcrossing cards though get to stay on the fridge until I fill up one side. I found the best magnets at The container store. They are very
small so they don't hide the picture, but they are very strong. I mean they hold on so tight. They are a bit pricey so I hope to find the next set
on the net for less.
