Thanks for your answer Paulo. Do you think that it will be possible in the (near) future? I'm still doubting if I want to delete my second account or
if I want to wait until merging will be possible |

Hi Paulo and Ana I have a question regarding the new limits...
Since it changed I can send 13 cards at a time, and usually always have that many travelling. BUT... I'm not drawing ANY to go to Finland! I have had
at least 40 non-Finland addresses in a row. I'm not pleased or displeased, I'm just curious why that's happening. Is it a coincidence? |

As I said, not complaining - just curious! I still haven't drawn any Finnish addresses. It's just strange because they used to crop up so frequently. |

I am sending 12 cards at a time and I do get a Finnish address all the time. I don't think that it's a coincidence that you don't get any Finnish
address. Maybe there is a bug preventing you from sending cards to Finland....weird! |

Don't worry - I think there is no bug, I wrote several cards to Finland the last days
But that's not the reason why I write here - I have the problem with several accounts, too - it would be great if there will be a chance to merge
several accounts sometimes! |

Do you have a card travelling to Finland that is about to expire? If so, that is the reason why you haven't got any Finnish addresses recently. When
it expires, you'll get another Finnish address again. The system
works so that you can't have cards travelling to the same country at the same time. |

Limit increasement is not bad, but now the top list for the 60 days can only be climbed up by the members who are postcrossers since the first time -
a newbie has NEVER a chance to get to that list... |

The new changes to number of postcards sent is definitley welcome. Regarding the top 50 list (in last 60 days) it is true that due to these new
limits, a newbie is now not going to enter the list. (I have been postcrossing nearly 1 year 9 months and I have been in the list for a long time,
well over a year, so I was "established" before the new send limits.) |

Hi Kreb,
we are aware of this problem with the rankings and how hard is for the new users. However, we are planning a solution for it with some changes in the
way rankings work. More on this soon |

The most simple solution would be to delete the rankings. So no one would complain why they aren't on the top list... Postcrossing isn't a
competition! |

I think the increase of cards is a great idea and a very smart way to tackle the issue with giving out several adresses.
As for the rankings - it doesn't matter much for me but I look forward to see the solution to it |

Sounds good, especially since cards tend to take a while to arrive.
(I have some travelling to Germany and Norway for about 12 days now...) |

I was also wondering why with 10 address going on at the same time, how come I never have more than 1 card going to Finland??
But is this fair on the Finnish people? Since there are so many of them, won't it cut down on their received card numbers?? Or are there enough of the
rest of us to make this work??? |

Maybe a Master's ranking and a novice's ranking ??
Or lists per amount of sending cards... |

I agree Postcrossing is not a competition but I love to see the graphs and rankings (just love mathematics... ) And when I see the members in the topranks I dream away being able to
send and receive more than 20 cards.... |

THAT is a really good idea!
Someone else mentioned to merge multiple accounts in to one. That would make you get a better ranking in the list so that wouldn't be fair for people
who have only one account.
I have 2 accounts but I am going to delete the second (it's a pity for the sent and received list of that account but I don't expect Paulo to merge
accounts now or in the future because it just isn't fair for others with one account.) |

I have one account but I don't think the merging-mather has to do with fairness (after all, you did sent en received cards on the other account(s)
right?) I think the problem lies in the fact that you probably have sent and/or received to/from the same user on your accounts. Technically that
shouldn't be possible on one account. I would prefer merging though, because you only get unique users then. |

That's true but I do think it isn't fair for the rankings because people with 1 account couldn't send so much postcards. |

oh I like that idea. 5 is such a small number, and to have to wait for those 5 to register is like waiting for eternity to come. I've already sent 8
in 8 days, I'd love to send more. |
