How about people being able to cancel their own mail? I only know of the ability to do this in the USA but it may be available in other countries.

I would love to see some blog entries highlighting postcrossers in countries that have sent under 500 postcards. |

I would like to see a blog post that is sort of a poll of postcrossing users (through main site). Why do they most use postcrossing?
- to get mail
- to collect postcards
- to collect stamps
- to learn about other countries
- to meet people
Those are just some suggestions on items for the poll; there could be more or some could be combined.
I seem to be really into this topic. |

Postal workers who happen to be postcrossers also get to cancel their own mail!
How about doing a blog relating to a postal workers who are postcrossers and work with postcards on a daily basis!

Maybe some extra statistics, the ones you usually can't find anywhere? Like which card has been favorited most, or what the longest travelling time
was, or the longest distance sent, or which countries have the longest travelling time between them on average. Just for one time a whole bunch of
these kind of statistics. I would like that! |

Could we have a blog entry about how the Icelandic volcano ash affected postcrossing? It would be interesting to know some statistics about numbers of
postcards and if it was less than usual. |

This would be really cool. I would like it.
How about an item encouraging people to recruit some postcrossers in those few countries where there are none? |

I really liked the recent entry about Inge Löök and would like to read more about certain cards from a particular country that many postcrossers like and/or collect, like Fiep
Westendorp (especially with Annie MG Schmidt's 100th birthday this year), Dick Bruna, Kaj Stenvall, Moomins, Nouvelles Images, Posta Collect... |

There is currently a postal strike in Canada, you could write about that to let people in other countries know that if thy have sent a postcard to
Canada it will take longer than normal to get it. |

My story - maybe you want to put it on your blog:
When I had started here, I thought "ADD TO FAVES" is for my received cards to show my sender that I like his card very much.
A few weeks later I noticed that EVERYBODY can add ANY CARD to his faves...
So I explored the gallery - and there was one really very nice card, that I added to my faves.
And after a while I received a really very nice card, wow! I read what the sender wrote. I nearly couldn't believe it - it was this only one card I
had in my faves! I forgot that I had ever added a fave...
Now there are a lot of cards in my faves, but at that time it was only this one: RU-468177
I received this: RU-486408
The sender wrote: " I saw this card in your faves and remembered that I have one of it This is easy! I'm glad that you have only 1 fave and it is from my country!" |

I noticed today that of the 8 addresses I requested, none was to Finland! I was curious about that, because not so long ago everytime I requested
addresses Finland would be one of the first I got. That made me wonder and I had a look at the country distribution on the official site, and in the
pie chart I noticed only 4% of postcrossers is from Finland (making it 9th place), and in the list with how many members each country has, it was also
lower than I expected. Taiwan on the other side is currently number 4 in absolute numbers, even higher than the Netherlands. And Russia only needs
2000 members more before it catches up with the US and becomes the country with the most members!
Anyway, this led me to an idea for the blog: how about an overview of how country distribution has changed over the years? I'm a member for over 2
years, and it seems things have changed quite a lot It would be
nice to see in which countries Postcrossing has grown a lot, and how the amount of members has changed. Maybe, if the data is available, there could
be something like a top 5 or top 10 of countries with most members (like the list or in the chart with percentages) for a specific date (e.g. June
1st) of every year of Postcrossing? I would love to see that |

Maybe a blog entry about the language of stamps? I read this entry and thought it was fascinating:
http://www.philatelicdatabase.com/nostalgia/the-language-of-stamps/
Basically, in the 19-20th century, people often put their stamps in strange positions or angles and every way had a special meaning. Kind of like the
type of flower that has a specific meaning or the colours of roses and etc.
Apparently top right corner, upside down means I love you and etc. |
