Again no email notification for this post:
http://forum.postcrossing.com/viewthread.php?tid=28068&page=61#...
I received a notification for the post before (from Selphie10) but not for this one.
I was offline during both posts. |

I have noticed one thing:
I keep receiving U2U notifications to my email-account, even though I am logged in on the forum.
When I checked my control panel it still says:
"Receive e-mail notification on new U2U
(Only sent when you are not logged in)"
Well is it some kind of mistake or actually a new feature?
It confuses me a little, because I would like to be informed about U2Us while I am absent, but it sort of "spams" my email account if I receive them
all the time... |
I just came to mention this exact same thing. I've been here all morning dealing with u2u messages and got a lot of replies while I was logged on.
Then i checked my email, and had an email for every reply. I like them when I'm not here, so I know to go check. But when I am already on the site
checking them, it's annoying and somewhat spammy to get a whole lot of "You received a new u2u" messages for things I've already read and replied to
on the site.
But yes, i also agree with Mbali that you are all doing a wonderful job. Please don't take my complaining to mean I am unhappy! Just pointing out
potential problems! |

I and the other mods have experienced the same thing. Paulo and I think it may be a bug in the software code. But there are no reports on the
developers forum about this.
What I would like you to do is go to your control panel and turn OFF the notification and let me know what happens. Then a day later
(allow 24 hours) turn it back on and let me know if anything changed with the behaviour.
I need some testing by you members before I report it to the developers and it may be as simple as turning off and then back on later to fix the
behaviour.
Thanks

I found 2 and re-installed them both. My fault when I was clearing up that section after the install. I was a bit too zealous.

With AOL-Explorer and IE I see white on blue. Only with Firefox I see blue on blue.
(Layout = standard version) |

in the user control panel you can choose the language as well as the layout.
I have tried your settings and have still white on blue.
But I am using IE 8.0 |

That could be it then... Too bad I do not have the rights to upgrade IE here on this computer, otherwise I could check it... |
