Do you make the recipe that are on the postcard? I send a lot of Bara Brith recipe cards - I have never made it or even eaten it before....

Sometimes - depends if I can get the ingredients, and if it looks like something I'd like. I'd love to invite my friends over for a Postcard Dinner one night - all the recipes being ones from postcards.

My recipe card are here http://www.flickr.com/photos/46827786@N08/sets/72157623249994912/ and it's scanned just part. They have text of recipe on the back side in Russian. I can swap if someone interested and translate them in English. Just send me u2u.

I'm a bungler in cookery, so I've never tried to do these dishes.

I made the recipe off a postcard I sent the other day. They are for popovers. Easy recipe and it worked.

Some of the other ones that I have I would never make - Pecan Pie, Key Lime Pie, Shrimp - just because I am not interested in those foods. Conceivably I could make Key Lime Pie one day but I am not a big fan of pie.
