Christmas Meeting in Guarda - Portugal
Hello postcrossers!!
Geetings from portuguese postcards maniacs!
Just to let you know that we´re going to have this weekend (19th December) in Guarda in the Serra da Estrela region, a Christmas meeting.
With all the stuff that is connected to Christmas: happiness, family, children, gifts, food and SNOW!!
Yes, it´s true... with SNOW!! It really happens here in Portugal.
So keep an eye on this topic and we´ll show you the pictures later

We´re a bit sad, because there was a big storm last wednesday but in the weekend we only found a little bit of snow in the highest point of Portugal:
"torre".
As you can see in my photos it was cold in Guarda(-3.5º) but no snow.
As I arrived home Martinha said it was snowing in Guarda and here it is a photo of her street last night:

I have received a postcard from this meeting, too.
My dear postcard penpal ferro surely did surprise me with this card and it's so nice that everybody has signed it....many familiar names . It really made my day!
