BIG AUSSIE MEET-UP Adelaide on Sunday October 10.

Hello everyone.
A group from Queensland and Northern NSW are planning a meet-up in Adelaide in October.
Our group has been meeting in Brisbane and Sydney and in between since 2007 and we would all love to meet our southern friends.
We hope that will be easy for Victorian and South Aussies to get to and of course we would love to see all Aussie postcrossers there as well as anyone
who would like to come from overseas.
My husband has holidays booked so a tentative date is ...Sat 9th or Sun 10th but please let us know if another date would be better for you and we
will try to accomodate.

My work life has changed significantly, and unfortunately I will be on a ship at sea during the whole of October  If this changes, I will definitely try and make it there.

We will be in Adelaide Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th.

Well I think the best place to meet is the big Silver Balls in Rundle Mall, you can't miss them and they are easy to find. I am still working out
where to go for lunch and stuff so please be patient and I will get back to you.
I am working more as we are short staffed at work so am rather busy.
Well that is step 1 so at least it's a start.
What do you think Mundoo is that a good idea as it involves you too I'm sure you will be there. |

I will be there  With bells on even. LOL
I will probably stay at son's house at Marleston. I will have the car so some sightseeing is possible.
Rundle Mall is a good starting place. The balls or the pig are both locations that are easy to find. There is also free wifi internet in several
locations in Rundle Mall (and the airport) - check out Internode |

It would be good if you could come nop-nop where are you from in Australia, which State.
eliza and ozzguy great if you could come too so we can have a few more of us Adelaide members.
Crizle we have had those Silver Balls for years now and they just recently took them for a clean. I didn't know you had them in Brisbane, I was only
very young when I last went there , the planes had propellers on them, doesn't that sound funny. |

Plane had propellors when I first flew too Binky
Just heard from Lotty and she can't come. She will be in Aus, but in Victoria. So close yet so far away. |
