I cant remeber who her name was, but I recieved a pc lastweek, with a lady preaching to me. Saying on the pc that the ONLY reason she joined
postcrossing was to preach gospile to everyone she can!
Now, I firmly belive in God, but Im a preachermans daughter, & married into a very religious familytoo, I DONT need people sending me there crap.
To me its spam. I dont go trying to convert people into my religion, so please dont think to try that with me!
Thats even the reason why I have a NO SOLISITORS on my house, along with NO tressspassing!
If I want to read about God, Id read the Bible, not a postcard! |

I know some people see postcrossing as a way to spread the Word. I think I received such a card twice, and while I thanked them, I always mention that
they want to be carefull, cause many are not interested or might even be offended. Just like that some don't like cards with nudes. So unless you know
someone wants such cards, I wouldn't sent it. |

I am a believing Christian, too, but this profile puts even me off. I just seriously have a problem with people who try to put their own opinions on
others, and in my opinion she does that with the "I want you to know that Jesus loves you all"-part, or the way she forces God's blessing onto
everyone reading her profile. I am well aware of the fact that, even though I like being said 'God bless you', many other people don't. (Also I have
a problem with her calling Jesus her lover, but well.  )
On the other hands, she never sent any cards showing some kind of religious propaganda, so I guess it's fine, she sticks to the rules, and she can
write whatever she wants in her profile. After all, it does not even contain "you HAVE to believe", or "love Jesus or you will ROT IN HELL" or
something like that.
What I honestly find worse than that profile is the amount of people who act disrespectful in this thread, or as it has been said before, ridiciously
and childish. |
