So who's up for a meeting in Michigan. I live in Southwest Michigan close to Benton Harbor/ Saint Joseph area I'll be leaving 20th of June coming back
15th of August. So either before or after would work for me. |

Battle Creek appears to be the best decent sized town/city in the
middle. For me having it sometime in the fall would be best. My weekends are booked up until I leave for the summer. How does Battle Creek sound?
I've never been there. I'm not originally from here. I only moved to Michigan 4 years ago. |

I would love to join you guys. I'm up in Bay City. The fall works best for me, as well. I'm a teacher, but will be gone for a good chunk of the
summer for various conferences. Lansing may be another option in the central part of the state. There are bound to be plenty of places there that
sell postcards  |

I don't really care where we meet. I would say about a 2 hour driving limit. I could drive a little more but I don't want to be driving all day for
something that is only few hours. It would need to be on a Sunday as I am Seventh-Day Adventist so I take Saturday's as a day of rest. |

My concern about a Sunday meet-up would be that we really wouldn't be able to hit the shops, museums and such to buy postcards, as most are closed on
Sunday. Downtown Lansing is a ghost town on Sunday. If we do a Sunday meeting, we should bring generic Michigan cards with us from home for writing.
For me, though, half the fun of the meet-ups is shopping for cards with fellow postcrossers. |

You're right cawindt. I went to Kalamazoo on Sunday and was really excited to purchase some postcards from there. Although I was able to find a few, I
knew I could have purchased a lot more if the stores were open! |
