Hmm, wondering about this profile

http://www.postcrossing.com/user/rnwaypeng

She seems to be somewhat confused about how postcrossing works. She's asking people to send to her friend and not mention her name, so I am thinking the cards may not get registered. I drew the address, so I am going to send a card, but I have the feeling it is probably going to end up expired.

She might be confused, but it could also be that she hasn't received any cards yet since she has only been a member for 29 days and she is in China.

I looked at the dates and agree that probably no cards have been received since her cards were registered recently. But the address is for her friend, not her, so who knows if the friend will figure out he needs to tell her the postcard IDs, or if she will ask her friend for them.

Well, the profile has been changed and he says he will register things as soon as they are received. However, he still has 0 received after being a member for 71 days. My card has been traveling for 41 days and my average for sent cards to China is 21, so it is traveling nearly twice the average.

since I got no reply whatsoever, I sent a card to her with illustrated instructions on how to register cards. if this card expires, what should I do? she doesn't answer personal messages.

I don't think there's anything you can do about this, sorry.

maybe you can send a message directly to a moderator in case it gets overlooked here, but I'm pretty sure they are on the look out for people like that anyway, this user won't be able to keep on doing this long without consequences...

I wouldn't necessarily call it cheating. It's not like she's getting any benefit out of not registering cards. It may be that she simply doesn't care to register them, or much less likely, she doesn't know that she's supposed to register cards.

well I do hope she honestly just doesn't know. I hate to think she doesn't care.
