I'll be going to Ireland again in November! :D

It would be lovely to meet some (?) of you. The 3rd or 4th of November would be good for me and the Aroma Café is perfect too! :bouncing:

Mood: Dreaming of traveling

Hello - would love to visit Ireland, but I am afraid it will be a long while. My alternative is to introduce your country (and the rest of the world) to classrooms in Salinas and throughout the world. My request is if there are classrooms interested in joining the Sandy Martin Cards4Kids, please email me at postcards4classrooms@gmail.com.

The project works like this - I send one postcard a month to the classroom, and also have a postcrosser send a postcard through my swap with them.

The classrooms will also participate in a swap of postcards with another classroom for World Post Day, October 9, 2013. The students create their own postcards and mail the classroom cards together in a package. so it is not a penpal program. I am working on funding for postage for this part, but it would be the only expense for the school. It is open to classes from primary or elementary school through the equivalent of our high school, about 6 years old to 18 years. Ages would be matched as closely as possible.

Our students have very poor geography knowledge, and do not travel from their homes. I am hoping to help the teachers with the postcards.

I hope this is not a spam message, and I get lots of replies! Thank You.
