IMPLEMENTED - Suggestion: A sub-forum for event postcard requests (birthday, congratulations, etc)
Hello!  I had an idea, so I was wondering if it would make sense to
others as well. How about a sub-forum for people who are asking for birthday postcards, get-well postcards, etc?
I see a lot of requests from people, where they ask for people to send postcards either to themself or to other people ("could you send a postcard to
my friend who just had a baby," "could you send a postcard to me for my birthday," "could you send a postcard to my friend who is in the hospital,"
"could you send a postcard to my friend who is getting married," etc), usually in exchange for a postcard from them.
A lot of members here are happy to send these postcards, often not asking for one in return, so they're kind of like non-random Random Acts of
Smileness cards I was thinking that if these requests had a
sub-forum of their own, they wouldn't be pushed down by the normal trade requests, and they would get more responses What do you think? |

There is a message thread in RAS that does come close but does miss out on the 'sent me a birthday card please' group.

Hmm, I thought I had started this thread in the right sub-forum? 
But I've never seen the "Forum Wishlist" sub-forum before! *looks around curiously* 
(It'll be interesting to see if the requests sub-forum can be created! It would allow for more details for specific people/events than the RAS tag, I
think, as well as more responses for each one?  Thank you for
considering it! ) |
