I wanted to let the USA users on here that are looking for places to buy deco tape in the US something I found out today as I was shopping around
today.
I was out at some neat craft store today, 3 to be exact there names are: Hobby Lobby, Micheals, & JoAnns Fabric & craft shop.
Anyways, I saw these places have deco tape for sale, but I never stopped to them called antyhing other then deco tape.
Here, there called by these names, "Srapbooking tape", "Sticker boarder", or "frilly tape".
But, may I also ask what are the price of them that those who buy them in other countries? The prices here are $4.99 for a package of 2, 1 big roll of
approx: 5.5 feet, & a smaller 1 of approx: 2.5 feet, both are the same design in them too. I was just curious if that was really a good deal or
not?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks |
I've seen what you are talking about at all 3 of those stores...I bought some awhile back of the big roll. I don't really like them though, I prefer
actual deco tape. |

You can note it at the thread itself by edit your post and state the date you post it. If using registered mail, state the register no. |

Why not just send the person a U2U? They might not check the thread again. |

I am feeling a little frustrated by tags in the other items lately. I try not to be the last person in too many tags at once, but there are the same
few people who are always at the end. I don't mind tagging them once or twice, but I would like a chance to tag some other people, too. |

So what is the solution you propose?
It is fine to complain but really unless you have a suggestion or two or three then the issue you are complaining about won't change.

You are right! That's one of my pet peeves--people who complain but have no solution.
I think maybe 3-5? In this forum, there are a bit more expensive tags. I think it would cut down on flakers.
Ideally, people would police themselves. It seems like there are currently a couple of people who are always tagging. Maybe this should be a suggested
limit, but if you go over, say up to 7, there are no consequences. |

If I have been tagged, but the new member has not requested my address, who do I report this to? |

U2U the new member yourself. And tell them they need to u2u and ask for an address. They're new, they might not understand the rules that well.
I usually tag them back if possible. |

I would U2U the person who tagged me and let them to know they need to U2U you to ask for your address.
Maybe they don't really know what to do... |

I just received my first tea tag...The stamps and envelope were wonderful but there was no tea inside! The letter was slightly cut and I guess the
customs officers took the tea
Do you guys write customs declaration before sending tea and did you ever have the same problem? |

Envelopes containing tea always get opened by customs in New Zealand! Sometimes they take it, sometimes they don't. Now I don't tea tags anymore |

here we basically have to write customs declaration if we send to countries outside europe or european union, i think
please everyone pay attention to packaging too
bubble bag- envelopes work well for teabags too if you put
any heavier or bulkier stuff in regular envelope, it can easily break and the content is lost |

Well New Zealand (and Australia) are famous for their strict tea control but its strange to see these things in Europe!
Yep, sending between EU is not a problem, but since Serbia is outside of it...How much do customs declarations cost in your countries? |

in Jamaica & the USA you do not pay for the actual customs declaration...it is just required if you send packages internationally
so basically you just fill out the form and stick it on that package |

Hi, it might sound quite silly but how do you send small items? I haven't participated in any other item tag, though I really want to, just because I
don't know how to send the things. Do you use normal envelope or the bubble one? I suppose you don't have to use any box or anything? |

it depends on the item, for example a sticker sheet does not need bubble envelope but a keychain most likely does, as it can easily break a normal envelope if you send breakable item, then need more packaging of course. if the
item is big in size, bulky, you need a box as it won´t fit in bubble envelope |

Is there any list for what´s allowed / not allowed to send in all the different countrys?
It´s very difficult to find it out for each country...
If there´s no list - maybe we chould start one?
Especially for swapping and tags...
Best wishes from Germany,
Lee |
