*NEW* 7 January 2012 meetup!
1st ever Official Singapore Postcrossing Meetup
On 7th January 2012, a hot and sunny day, 14 of us, new and experienced Postcrossers, met up at Fika Swedish cafe.
We talked about postcards and stamps, and shared our received postcards and collection with each other. tincy brought some really interesting postcards to show us and lohsmeng brought his expensive collection of old Singapore postcards.
Due to the seating arrangement on a long table, it was hard for the Postcrossers to interact with those sitting on extreme ends. Will take note of
this for future meetups planning :S
We passed around cards for signing - a total of 14 signatures! And we took a group photo at the end of the session. I also promoted the forum and our
Singapore community forum a little 
Thanks lohsmeng for printing our Meetup card - it is very kind and thoughtful of you 
And thanks everyone for coming and making this event a success!

Hello everyone from Singapore!
Postcrossing has just been given a great publicity on the Sunday Times recently and I thought it would be a great opportunity to organise a
long-awaited Postcrossing Meetup in Singapore!!
Details:-
Date: Changed to 7 January (Saturday)
Time: 3pm

yes it's the first time!!!
there has already been tons of meetups in finland, germany and even a couple over at our neighbouring malaysia.
there's quite an active group of new and old postcrossers in singapore, and we're such a small country, so this meetup is looooong overdue! |

Am not driving so won't find super ulu places.. haha.
this one is fairly accessible from nicoll highway mrt (circle line; 1 bus stop) and bugis mrt (slightly further)
any other suggestions?? |

I have not been to this place (even don't know such cafe existed..very "sua-ku" me.. , but, but will love to go & it is also halal too (how thoughtful of you,"sybones"..thanks) Btw, apart from us

The special thing about Postcrossing meetup, apart from meeting fellow postcrossers, is the meetup postcard.
Example
p/s: Of course as a small meetup group we wouldn't have our own printed cards to sign on, but we can bring our favourite type of cards - city views,
whatever. It's not compulsory, but I'll get y'all autographs!
Postcrossers will sign on the cards and these cards will be sent to themselves, friends and those who collect the cards (Postcrossing Meet-Up RR)
