Cyrillic letters

For some reason, cyrillic letters appear as unreadable hyroglyphs for me, as well in forum thread as in U2U's. I've got no problems with other websites using cyrillic alphabet and here on the forum Greek or Hebrew letters and Chinese or Japanese characters also appear as they should. Can anyone help to solve that problem?

I'm probably a bit blind but where can I change the forum settings? Hope it's not too complicated because I'd just like to change the settings to Russian once in a while, not permanently.

Why I can't see all cyrillic letters? When I go to the communities with cyrillic letters (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) I can see only letters like this Îáúåäèíåííàÿ òåìà ïî ïîèñêó ìàðîê.

But in this thread in one posting all is normal, and in the other the wrong letters: http://forum.postcrossing.com/viewthread.php?tid=35089

On other sites with cyrillic letters I have no problem, it's only here in the forum.

I've been wondering about this, too. I don't visit a lot of sites where cyrillic letters are used because I don't speak a language that uses them, but it does happen from time to time and the letters are always displayed correctly. But here in the forum it's just gibberish like the "Îáúåäèíåííàÿ òåìà ïî ïîèñêó ìàðîê" Bullitt mentioned.
