Good idea! I would love to be informed when my traveling postcard has expired, but i do mind receiving messages that something traveling to me has
expired, why? I always register everything i receive at the same day. And what a pity to know that i should wait for an official card since that
message again |

I support the idea of an e-mail to the sender, he knows that he can send another card and maybe he can evaluate if he should send a replacement card.
Instead I wouldn't send a message to the receiver. |

Oh, I would hate to get an email as receiver. If I don't register a card, it's because I don't receive it & I wouldn't want to know how many or
what cards I'm missing out on because they get lost in the post. |

I would be worried that messaging the receiver might encourage them to ask for a resend, when the rules don't require a resend to take place.
When the sender identifies that a card has expired, they can easily resend if they think it is appropriate to do so, otherwise no-one is worse off,
because the recipient will go back into the pool and receive from someone else and the sender can request another address to send to( I think that's
how it works) |
