Dear All,
I sincerely feel that for the benefit of active postcrossers, the site should include numbers related to how many of their sent postcards slipped in
to "expired" category in the last month. This item should also be tracked just like postcards sent and received on a monthly basis. Also if postcards
to some particular country are slipping into "expired" category in large numbers, we could request users in that particular country to take up the
matter with their postal authorities.
With best regards,
Mukund Chiplunkar
I'm here to make the same suggestion. I would really like to see the percentages of expired postcards per country (e.g. the number sent to/from a
certain country is 100% and the expired ones make x%). Actually I'm making this suggestion because I know that some countries really have problems and
it would be easier to use numbers when speaking to them.
Not for me. Expired postcards are nothing more then ID's + requested addresses, for which the ID has not been registered within 60 days. Allthough
with every requested address you make a promise to postcrossing to actualy post the card, only the postcrosser who requested the address knows if
there was realy a card posted.
There might have been a card posted, or not.
Therefore those data is not reliable.
