It is in the wrong place. Is a new forum bug that we are trying to fix.
Moving it to the existing thread about this topic. |

Hm, I still get the message. Now it's not when I want to look at my favourites, but just when I try to access the forum. Never when I have just turned
on my computer, but when I've accessed the forum several times, all of a sudden, it won't work anymore. It's on my work computer, I'm not sure about
my home computer because I haven't used it much the past two days.
The only thing that helps is deleting all cookies, but that is starting to get a bit annoying because it means I have to re-enter my passwords for all
other website I use as well.. |

We are working on the problem. We are trying to isolate the problem.

You don't have to delete all your cookies.
You should only be deleting the forum one. You can do a search in the cookies window for forum.postcrossing.com and then just delete that one.
We are also intruigued that deleting the cookie gets rid of the Under Maintenance screen because that screen only shows when there is a delay in the
database being read so deleting the cookie shouldn't make any difference.
But until we solve this problem do whatever it takes to make things wrok.
Please keep reporting. |

We are doing our best to solve this. We know this is annoying - it is for us too.
Unfortunately there's no "turbo" button to push, only hundreds of different switches that only work when on the right combination, otherwise it can
actually make things worse.
We are working on it, please continue reporting - thanks! |

Other error messages might appear instead of the generic "under maintenance page" - if that's the case for you, please report here what is the exact
error message - thanks! |

Hi!
I have problems with my u2u. I've created a sub folder and I can't use it anymore because it says "The Postcrossing forum is under maintenance.
Please try again later." I can see all othe old u2us but this folder is not working for 3 days now.
Hope you can solve the problem... |

An update was just done on the forum to try to fix this problem: if you seen the "under maintenance" in the last 2m or so, that was the reason (actual
maintenance). If you see that page (or any error) from now onwards, please report it. Thank you! |

Sorry...still cannot access U2U except by convoluted method through my user profile..as if to send myself a u2u and then changing to the
inbox/outbox.
Error message when using the normal u2u route at top right of this page is still reading:
"The Postcrossing forum is under maintenance...please try again later" |

Just to update this thread: the issue has been fixed with the help of the members experiencing this.
If you still get the 'under maintenance page' (outside of our maintenance periods that is!), please make sure to hit the refresh/reload button on your
browser - you might be seeing a page in the cache of your browser, not the real one. |
