I am a maybe for this. Whenever I am in the city, I drop by the Wharf for cards. When do you need confirmation? |

Here we are in Lisbon so started on our travels, we enjoyed our short time in Shanghai and survived our very long travel day yesterday. Beautiful
sunshine here today, fingers crossed the weather stays like this! |

Hope Vejoyce can make it. I'm glad you have good weather in Portugal Adriennegarry!
I finally sent an email to Eugenie on this meet up. I also haven't heard whether or not Asuayan, Futuremomo or Mimi-Lucia can make it. I called
Alioto's and changed our reservation from 6 people to 12. He told me they will try to put us all together at one table but it may end up being two 6
seaters next to each other. But I think its worth it given how nice Alioto's is - historic, the people are very polite there, the food is good and
the views are awesome! |

I think I said I could make this , but I have a conference on how the Governor's budget affects education I must attend at the same time as this
meetup. If anyone would like to extend the meeting or meet later, call me at (510) 712-4934. I've never gone to a meetup and so excited to meet
other Postcrossers.

Eduardo I'm hoping we hit up Ghirardelli chocolate later that afternoon. When do you think you'll be available?

reservation is made under my name, Hallie Feldman. Its through Open Table. Alioto's restaurant is not on the ground floor but up a flight of steps.
Then you come to a place where someone will check us in. I imagine the best bet would be to meet where they check us in, unless someone is late and
then they will point the late person to our table.
Hope I'm making sense. |

Niikaras thank you for opening a group! There are already 8 people signed up for my group in the Postcrossing Meetup RR, only 2 spaces left. Does
anyone else who is going to the meetup want to open up a group? |

I thought 7 for $1 was the best deal, recently. But yesterday I was geocaching at the Wharf and found them at 10 for $1 near Alioto's on Jefferson St.
between Ripley's and the Wax Museum.
Looking forward to seeing you all. Ghirardelli's--yum, great hot fudge sundaes. there are also two good postcard shops at Ghirardelli, I've spent many hours hunting for cards in the Helper's Bazaar
charity shop on the second level, they have new-ish cards as well as old writen ones. Another place some distance away is the One Half shop on Polk
Street near Pacific. They have a lot of variety, Nouvelle Image, movie stars, etc., some a bit shop worn but there are great finds there at 35 cents
each. |

Our last night in beautiful Spain and our flight to Munich at 12.15 pm then wait to transfer to the flight to San Francisco which gets there at 7 pm.
Goodness knows how long that is in actual hours but will be rested before our meeting on Thursday |

The workshop won't end until 5PM. Traffic at that time will probably be horrible, so I don't see myself showing up until 6ish. My number is
510-712-4934. |
