Dear, let me try to help a little bit, as below:

If your friend is stuck on the way or will not come, a cup of coffee, a book or the Kazan(city) will accompany you!

Today I received this beautiful Victoria Kirdy postcard.

There's written something on the back. It's a lot, so you don't have to translate everything, but could someone tell me the sense of it?

Thank you very much!!!

it's a quote from a famous Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva (google her)

"Wings can give you freedom but only as long as they are wide spread. When your wings are folded, it is just a burden"

"Life can not be measured by the number of breaths you take. It can be measured by the number of moments of ultimate happines that take your breath away"

Hi dear PasoDoble,

This picture was taken in Wuzhen,Zhejiang Province, which is 127 km from Shanghai in the southwest. It is a very famous waterside town. For recent years it is also known as the host place for World Internet Conference.

Referring to the words:

Wuzhen- You can hear the soft accent ,while the local tune lingers in the house.

Remark: you may know that there are lots of different accents of speaking Chinese, while people in Wuzhen are used to speak in a very soft way.

The language is Chinese, and it is a poem by Liu Yuxi.
Here you can find information about the poet, and also a translation of this poem:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liu_Yuxi

秋風引 Summer Dying (or closer to the words: Ode to the Autumn Wind)

何处秋风至? Whence comes the autumn's whistling blast,
萧萧送雁群。 With flocks of wild geese hurrying past? . . . .
朝来入庭樹, Alas, when wintry breezes burst,
孤客最先闻。 The lonely traveller hears them first!
(Translation by Herbert Giles)

Hello! Would someone be able to explain the meaning of this postcard from Russia please? It seems to commemorate an historical event.

Many thanks!

The words on this retro picture: "Restaurant "Post Office". 1986" To be honest, I had to google to find out what this means))

The restaurant "Postal Office 1786" is located in the historical center of Arkhangelsk (in the North of Russia), in the historical building on one of the oldest streets of the city (about 230 years of history).

The building was built in the late 18th century, during the reign of Empress Catherine II, for the Arkhangelsk Provincial Post Office.

In this restaurant on the tables there are postcards and envelopes dedicated to this historic place, they can be sent anywhere in the world directly from the restaurant.:)
