Let's make this section AWESOME!

Hello, fellow educators!

I was thinking that this part of the forum could be so much more. As teachers - of any level - this space of Postcrossing could be where we share ideas of how we incorporate Postcrossing into our lesson plans, help students learn and grow, and how we teach in our individual countries and schools. Perhaps we can get a few laughs in there as well? :)

From what it looks like now, judging by the threads, people stop in but rarely come back once they make a connection. Please keep visiting! Let's be supportive of one another as we continue on this journey to educate the kids of the world.

I'll start a couple of threads to get some conversations going. Let's see where this can go! I'm sure we can all do fabulous things together!

:) Kristin / Volvomom :)

Hi. That is a good idea. We can share our experience dealing with the kids. As for me I am teaching students with special needs. I need some suggestion from teachers out there how you teaches your students with this abilities espeacially the slow learners. Make the thread fun!

Very cool! I'd love to talk to you, as I'm going back to school to teach special needs students officially. Although I do have special needs students in my Spanish classes, now I would focus on them. Let's chat!

Yea! So great to see you here! Where in France are you? My brother is currently in France for work. He's loving it - first time there.

Hello everybody!
I'm a teacher from Russia.
I use postcrossing activity from time to time to stimulate students start writing or just to have new links with other schools.
I agree that sometimes our exchaging project had troubles of different nature but we're still in. We're still trying have new friends.
What I expect every postcard will have:
1)Greetings;
2)a short info about themeselves;
3)some info about country/city/other topic to discuss;
4)QUESTIONS to the friend (it's very important for us 'cause it teaches and motivates students);
5)farewell.

We are really ABLE to start it. Send + or enything else if you want it too

Sorry for this long message!
Have a nice day!
