#13 ladybug513 St George's Church, Nordlingen, Germany. Cool vintage black and white card. Your NYC trip...and to the Empire State Building...so, you have something of a Sleepless in Seattle life? Or was that You've Got Mail? I always get so confused....lol

That would be Sleepless in Seattle, although the ESB employee who took our photo declared it to be "An Affair to Remember!"

#13 with cards coming in from:

#5 alcott1 - Thank you for my very first Kentucky map card! What a neat tour to be taking, but how can they possibly pass off Falls of the Ohio with a lock and dam? Bait and switch if you ask me! But, it sounds like fun!

#17 yoiyumtewa - Thank you for the very informational postage stamp card re poet Marianne Moore. I agree with you that it would be nice to see more USPS generated cards of this type. Nice Elvis stamp and cute stickers, too!

#23 steresem - Thank you for the multi view of some of the lighthouses along the Oregon coast. The settings are all so picturesque. The coastline from New York and south is all beach. No hills and lush greenery here! Sand, scrub pines and coastal vegetation! Still beautiful, just different.

#13 with cards from:

#6 mikeyz1 - The Pokey Little Puppy arrived with a bite sized chunk missing. Rather appropriate, right? Once again, the P.O. was very apologetic. I hope this is not a sign of condition of future deliveries. I recently bought this Golden Book at a Goodwill outlet. It cost me $.25! Thank you, Mike!

NARR June 2019 – Report #2

#05 Alcott1: sent a shot of Japanese Edo Period armor which is on display at the Frazier History Museum in Kentucky. Yeah, seems odd that they would have this relic in their collection. Stills for moonshin’ and Appalachian musical instruments might be more appropriate. Nice Golden Spike spike stamp, too. Thanks!

#13 Ladybug513: sent a quirky shot of Ramblin’ Dan of the Professor World Band. This one-man band has been entertaining children for over 35-years - and a 65-years-old, shows no signs of stopping. What a nightmare! Brown Pelican and Motion Pictures Anniversary stamps, too. Thanks!

#18 Mere5oh: sent a shot of the world’s largest pistachio nut which can be found at McGinn’s Pistachioland tree ranch and country store in Alamogordo, New Mexico. So jealous you’ve got go there! I’m considering buying a motorhome in retirement and road tripping to all these “great” sites. Thanks!

#20 Serafaina: sent some good sh*t copypasta created by the Friendshipping Podcast. Great typography and text, though the purpose of copypasta still eludes me. Or why someone would sponsor a kickstarter campaign to get them produced!! Any insights as a librarian? Excellent stamps, stickers and washi tape, too. Thanks!

It's a podcast of friendship advice that can get kinda pottymouth. XD Fans of weird cards, expect to see more of those in the future! I backed the Kickstarter because I liked the podcast. There are about fifty cards with about a dozen different artists. Some of them are inspirational, some like the one I sent you are just plain goofy.

#20 reporting, I sent #s 13, 19, 25, and 26

And I received:

--A vintage photo of Cinderella Castle from Celebration, FL from #2 mischelina (Safe travels!).
--A beautiful hotel from #5 alcott1 (yeah, I've been in the RR before but went on hiatus when we fostered then adopted a puppy. Never had a dog before! She eats postcards!)
--A Mondrian I don't have yet from #6 mikeyz1 (I've seen your Facebook posts. Congratulations!)
--A woman in kimono reading from #12 flaggazer. (Stay dry up there!)
--A GF Albuquerque by Lantern Press from Albuquerque from #18 mere5oh.
--A portrait of Jack Kerouac from #23 steresem (He's one of my favorite authors too!)
--A Roger Dean painting that I swear I've seen on an album cover from #28 alm74.
--A Klimt I don't yet have from #30 rockyroadtrip.

Thanks everyone! :bouncy:
