Antwerp Meeting, 1st of October 2019 #150yearsofpostcards
Hello everybody,
I decided last minute to organize a meeting because it would be pity if we could not celebrate the day itself. It is something special to celebrate
150 years of postcards I know it is working day for many of us,
but I still hope to get some people together.
CITY/REGION : Antwerp - Wijnegem
DATE : 1st of October 2019
TIME : 17.00 till max. 21.00 (5 till 9pm max.)
MEETUP PLACE : Wijnegem Shopping Center @ Lunch Garden
If you want, you can go earlier to the Shopping Center of course. Actually it has a new name now but it's still at the same spot  Here's a link to their website that you can see which shops are where :
http://www.wijnegem-shop-eat-enjoy.be The other shops are closing at 8pm but our dinner spot stays open until 9pm.
If you can't make it at 5pm but you can be there at 6 or 7pm; that's perfect too of course. You choose and you have to see how it's going with your
day program.
At Lunch Garden everybody can eat what he/she wants because it's a self service-service restaurant. It's located ground floor at shop 540.
Please let me know ASAP :
- if you're coming + at what time
- how many meetingcards you want to order (price will be around 0.25€-0.30€ I guess, depending of how much we'll need in total)

Dear Veerle and other postcrossers in Antwerp,
We'd like to invite everyone organizing meetings around the 150th anniversary of postcards to do something a little bit extra on the day, if possible.
Here are some suggestions:
- Broadcast a little video message from your meeting, either live or by recording a video and uploading it. For example, sing or wish the postcard a
happy birthday, or show the world what your celebrations look like.
- Connect with another meetup happening simultaneously in another location, so that a small moment of connection can be established between the 2 groups of
postcard enthusiasts! Remember to reach out to the respective meetup organizer beforehand, in order to exchange contacts and sort out a suitable time.
- Take pictures and share them with us! Tag them #150yearsofpostcards or send them to us on social media or via email, so that we can share them with the whole community. We would like everyone to feel included and to show the world what the celebrations
of this special milestone look like.
Most of all, we hope you enjoy the event and this special day together — it's a birthday party, so remember to relax and have fun.
