German Post informs that Postal workers expected to extend strike by 8 December.
So we have to be patient and wait.

The negotiations on Wednesday didn't produce any solution to the crisis yet, and today the negotiations were resumed. Nothing has been reported since this morning except that support strikes threathen to expand. If the worst happens, the strike continues till the 8th December.

There is now hope! Tomorrow morning we'll find out if a new proposal is accepted by the both parts! :) This could mean that the strike is over tomorrow.

I received a card from Russia this week (on Wednesday maybe?). The card had been stamped on the 5th November.

It will be interesting to see when (or if) my three cards ate registered. One is on 36 days, and the PXer has registered nothing since 11 November, and is owed around 60 cards. They have probably gone away. The other two are on 26 days and both PXers have registered cards recently, so there's hope mine will arrive soon.

I have been receiving mail as usual, it appears. At least magazines and ordinary mail.

There are also areas in Finland where they only deliver on certain weekdays, but that's the new normal.

I recieved during the strike from Finland, but probably what happened is that the cards managed to get out of Finland before the strike.. as it does take me about one month to both send and recieve from Finland
