Does this rule not apply here??

No listing of members names as white lists or black lists or travelling lists in signature areas, messages or bio's.

I don't usually look at my expired cards much, but since a card of mine was registered today after 78 days, I thought I'd see how many of my expired cards were going to users that are still active.

China, 64 days (Last Seen: 24 days ago; 5 sent, 0 received)
Russia, 64 days (active)
Singapore, 71 days (active)
Indonesia, 71 days (Last Seen: 10 days ago)
Lithuania, 72 days (active)
Russia, 101 days (Last Seen: about 1 month ago; young teenager)
U.S.A., 127 days (Last Seen: 3 months ago)
Belarus, 129 days (active)
Germany, 129 days (Last Seen: about 1 month ago)
China, 168 days (Last Seen: 9 days ago)
U.S.A., 199 days (active)
Turkey, 199 days (Last Seen: 20 days ago)
U.S.A., 204 days (active)
Russia, 221 days (Last Seen: 7 months ago)
Russia, 254 days (Last Seen: 3 months ago; has apparently moved to the US)
Hong Kong, 269 days (active)
China, 291 days (Last Seen: 6 months ago)
Russia, 292 days (Last Seen: 10 months ago)
Russia, 299 days (This account is currently suspended.)
India, 300 days (Last Seen: 9 months ago; 5 sent, 2 received)
Belarus, 319 days (Last Seen: about 1 month ago)
Russia, 324 days (active)
Russia, 325 days (active)
Russia, 331 days (Last Seen: 7 months ago)

There are quite a few in this list who I don't consider inactive, so maybe in these cases the cards really did get lost. In the cases of long inactivity, I'd be willing to bet the cards arrived but have never been registered. The suspended account gives me a little hope - maybe whatever is wrong there will lead to my card being registered after all.

Perhaps I'll resend some cards again, but I don't do this a lot these days but rather let these expired cards go.

I've been a member 69 days. My first two cards sent have both expired.

Both were last seen about a month ago. One has been a member for 10 months but has hardly sent any cards, the other 3 years and has done about 30 cards on average per year.

Thankfully all my other cards have been received but it is disappointing, when being so new, that already I have two cards that either haven't reached their destination (Taiwan and China) or just haven't been registered. Perhaps they've been away on holidays and that might change soon. I can hope.

Most of my expired cards are inactive users:
I've only been a member for a bit over a year now. I have 7 expired sent cards, and 5 of those are inactive members. Two I have written to about the card, but not heard anything back. Another one is about to expire to what looks like an inactive member. It's a bit frustrating to have received addresses to send to, of members who are not active. Does anyone else have similar problems with inactive members?

A good number of my cards that expire to places like Russia and China eventually get registered.

More than half of the cards that end up being deleted are to people who are inactive.

I have only ever had one card registered when the account was closed/deleted.

Accounts affected by expired/lost cards

I'm quite new to Postcrossing and love it, but in just my short time here it looks like I will have 3 expiring cards already.

GB-825488 ruthgf Spain 4/Oct/2016 32 days
GB-820524 yenwalk Philippines 19/Sep/2016 47 days
GB-818973 tlblovell U.S.A. 15/Sep/2016 52 days

All have been sent with label printer applied addresses, written and printed postcrossing ID's.

I have spoken to the intended recipients whom confirm they have not received the cards.

In another thread I have been told by the moderators that accounts can be affected by lost cards:(

Finally since 3 days I have my first expired card:
to: Thailand sent 21/Mar/2018 8789 km (expired) 63 days

I was actually quite happy that it expired, as it finally doesn't block a traveling slot anymore. I have only been a member for 68 days and this was one of my initial 5 cards. Every slot counts when still stuck with a limit of 6 traveling and waiting until the the limit finally increases...

My postcard to Germany was received / registered after 240 days (8 months)
I sent it in December. It arrived in August.
The receiver told me (through the "thank you" message) that she was totally shocked and surprised :)

2 expired cards at the moment:

to: Taiwan, sent 9/May/2018 9014 km (expired) 107 days. User has 4 sent, 0 received
to: Thailand, sent 21/Mar/2018 8789 km (expired) 156 days. User has 28 sent, 30 received

Both are P.O. Box addresses. Both last seen about a month after I sent the card. Maybe they just don't check their PO Box often? Or maybe unlucky and they have abandoned postcrossing.. or the postcards have been lost?
