Postcrossing Flyer

Hello everyone,

here you´ll get the possibility to download a flyer to promote postcrossing. Just print the flyer and hand it out to people who might love postcrossing. The format is A5, about 14,8 * 10,5 centimetres, but lager prints are possible too.

Versions (just right click and save as):
links are no longer valid

Please be careful what you are doing with those flyers. Never "spam" other people and if you want to post it somewhere (e.g. your local post office), ask for permission first.

If you are able to translate the text into different languages, please contact me. You can also u2u me, if you would like to suggest any improvements.

Many thanks to the people, who helped me so far:
nane85, pimennys, ipuenktchen for suggestions and proofreading; ana for the offer to use the official Postcrossing logo, elicat and nukualofa for translating the flyer

good idea! I may ask to put these up in stores that sell postcards in my city.

I'm also thinking of making up some Postcrossing postcards to send to embassies or something to get other, less common, countries to join us.

Everyone should do Postcrossing! (if they're responsible enough, that is ;))

I just submitted Postcrossing to a local newspaper. The section of the newspaper titled "Cyberspot" features websites that are of interest that you would like to share with the readers. The article is due for next week.

And this flyer does comes in handy. I can now send it to everyone in my mailbox rather than typing it out into paragraphs.

Thanks so much for designing a flyer for everyone to use!

Great idea. I am going to ask a local store if I can put a flyer on the window. And I might even have another place to distribute the flyers, but I´ll have to ask first before making any final promisses.

There is no 'official' poster so any ideas are always welcome.

Here's one I made, hopefully it might be of some use to someone. I tried to make it simple, yet informative. Any spelling mistakes or suggestions please let me know! Pictures are clickable for larger view.

JPG versions (not as clear as the png ones, but will load much quicker, if you want to have a peek):

I've only been a member for a few months and would love to print some flyers to both hand out to people and to leave at the branches of my local library. Do I need anyone's permission to print out a copy of the flyer then have several hundred copies made somewhere like Office Max or Office Depot so I can get them done very cheaply? Do I need permission from Postcrossing to use the name one the flyers?

Are these flyers available in color? I could print them on my laser printer and send them to all my numerous penpals. Color flyers would catch attention quicker.

Also, I wonder if there is some sort of an ad one could place in their blog. Blogs are visited worldwide and it's a powerful tool for free advertising. They could be like some sort of a banner or an image similar to this flyer. I'd place one in my blog but I'd prefer it colorful and pretty. :)
