Hello Malaysia! ...And I don't speak Malay!

I was thinking of reserving an English section here. Being in a melting pot country with different people speaking many different languages, this place should hereby exist! Plus, for you living outside Malaysia - it's your chance to speak to us and be our friends, tell us how you like (or dislike) our postcards, stamps whatsoever, and if you haven't got any - don't worry - you can always request here :)

So......... you, you, and you!! Say something!

*somehow feels weird to post a v.friendly message with a horrible-looking avatar that may chase people away*

I wanted to say that I really admire Malaysia. I haven't been there, but I have read books about Malaysian culture and people. It's very interesting!
So far, I have received only one postcard from Malaysia, but it is fascinating ;)

Apa Kabar ! (or something like that )

I'm from Holand, but my grandfolks come from Malaysia.
However the laguage got lost when they moved to the Netherlands because they only used it when the children weren't allowed to understand what they were talking about.

My grandma is 85 or something and very confused so there goes my hope to leran the language from here (my grandpa died when I was about 2,5 y/o)

How funny to find some people over here that live in the place my grandma growed up...
*being sentimetal*

I would love to hear from one (or more) of you...

Ooh, great to see you here Sabje :) It's apa khabar - so you're good enough! You have to learn Malay, no doubt :D We'll help you for sure. I can't help but being v.curious how a Malaysian could leave this country for good ;) when was the last time your grandma came back here? Which part of Malaysia was she from? Have you been here yourself? If you haven't, then you should!

I'd be happy to send a postcard to you and your sweet grandma :)

well, I think it has something to do with the 2nd worldwar or something... like many others.
From what part of Malaysia she comes from I have to ask my mom... I'm affraid my grandma doesn't remember it.
I have never been over there, still want to some day, but when my little monster is a bit older (she's almost 3 y/o now)

I would love to receive a postcard, I will send you an U2U, please send me one back so I can find something for you as well...

Yeah, just like what Imajica mentioned, let us know what kind of card (day view, night view, multiple view, etc etc) you want on the towers, we have loads around here!

Hey guys! :)

@kennyofbaja: I have one card ready to travel to you tomorrow, but it's not the Towers. I'll go shopping for some Twin Towers cards next week and will send you one or two :) Oh, and the site you mentioned was great! But what did you mean by liking all those 'a'-s? :o

@ave-z: My next postcard to you should be a nice night-view of the Towers! Expect it in your mailbox pretty soon ;)
