Hi I will try to come too.

Shall we start sending invites to the people who have joined the previous meetings in Brussels and Antwerp, but also to others?

Put me and my husband steven (steven_74) on the list.

This sounds great - is someone over there able to take over organizing this? I don't know Brussels (been there once before but only for a night and that was with a bus tour) - perhaps we could all meet at 11am and then go somewhere for lunch - is there anywhere which would be open on a Sunday and have room for a group - a cafe with local food would be nice I am thinking.. really I am up for just whatever people think will work. We are staying at the Novotel Grand Place so I guess we can get to anywhere from there;)

I guess the best place to meet is the Central Hall of the Central Station (Only a 5-minute-walk from the Grand Place). Are you planning to have dinner with the group to? In that case, we could buy a sandwich at 'Panos' (sandwichbar) at the Central Station... I already tasted the sandwiches and the are good;)
Are there any places you'd like to visit with the group?

Just a few more things: post-offices are closed on Sunday. All foreigners who come to the meeting should ask someone from Belgium to buy stamps for them, or buy them on another day.
You can find the cheapest cards at the Grand Place (€ 0,25 each).

Adrienne, I posted this topic also on the Dutch community. Perhaps we get some reaction there.

Thanks so much veer and lotty:D meeting at the station sounds good - we will have come in there the day before so will know our way! A sandwich for lunch sounds sensible and a dinner later with those who can make it would be excellent. I hope some of you have men with you - my husband is rather nervous at being surrounded by postcrossing ladies!!

Maybe I'll join. It depends on my financial situation at that time, because we're going to move and we'll have to decorate a whole house :)

Hi everyone, veer has just come up with a brilliant idea, she has proposed to go to 'Boterhammen in het park'. This is a sort of picknick (as far as I understood) which is organised in the park near the Royal Palace in Brussels (not so far from Central Station). For those who like it, can bring their own lunch and I will take care of some Belgian specialities for everyone.

Veer and myself have decided we will do the organisation of this meeting and I am sure Ferro will want to help as well ;).

We will meet at 11.00 am in the Central Hall of the Central Station. Other activities for after lunch can still be decided.

Please send me a u2u when you want to come as well, so I can put u on the list.

In this post I will keep a list of all the people who have confirmed or who will try to join the meeting:

Like Jo already said, we would like to keep this meeting budget-friendly for everybody. Therefore we could eat at noon a sandwich at the park in front of the Royal Palace. I just saw on internet that we can visit the Royal Palace for free that day. Who's interested in visiting the Royal Palace? Other suggestions are also welcome here, or by U2U to me or Jo.
