I would really enjoy that! If I'm not busy I'd definitely go. I'm a Capitol Hill-ite without a car, so I'd vote somewhere within Seattle, but if the
location is easily busable I could make it work. |

totally on board! I would love to do a meet-up. I am also car-less. I would suggest someplace downtown solely because pike place market is the best
place to get postcards in seattle! for those driving there is
always parking under the viaduct, or park at the edge of the ride free area and bus to the market. |

Ok! Thanks for replying everyone! I really do appreciate it! Since it looks like we have people IN Seattle, we know the bus system and could totally
do a Pike Place adventure! I can bus in for sure! I am going to check with my schedule and see what day fits best for me, then I will post those
days(because what works best for me may not work best for everyone else, so there will be multiple days added) and we will go from there. |

OK! Choices for dates! I was thinking in October (it's Seattle, weather will be the typical).
Either October 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th (these are Saturdays)? I have not made any other plans.
Plans for meeting were Pike Place.
Idea: We meet at the gumwall (all who want to come), chat, take pics?, then move on into the Market lookin around for posts, (the nerd store is
AMAZING), once we were done with this, we would walk a little north to Tully's, sit down, get beverages, and write posts and continue to chat.
I am an early riser, I would want to meet at 10am at the latest (plus it is the Market so morning's are best to decrease chance of lots of way too
many people around). Let me know how you feel about that. I would plan for it to go about 2 to 3 hours. |

Thanks for the invite, but I won't be able to make it. I have 3 small kids and am pregnant with my 4th. So no trips up to Seattle for me. But it
sure sounds like fun! |

Any of those days potentially work for me! Your plan sounds great. For postcards... 1st & Pike News (the absolute best selection and cheap too
, that little bookstore Down Under, Golden Age, Left Bank Books, and
there's a little souvenir shop not too far down from the fish throwers that has a good variety of map cards. If only Happy Salmon had not gone out of
business... they had the best selection of Gentle Dragon cards. |

Also, I was wondering, should we "advertise" this meetup once we pick a day? I mean send messages to people who are active on the official site and
live in Seattle. There are a lot of users near here and I don't think many of them check the forum at all. |

Sounds great fire.maggie! I will try to do that when I get the chance. Also the date! How about October 22 will be a good day I believe! 520 will NOT
be closed that weekend!! Also, we all know how to bus in.
Here is the plan:
POSTCROSSING SEATTLE MEETUP!
Where: Pike Place Market; Gum wall
When: October 22, 2011 @ 10am - 10:30am we will be meeting! At 10:30 we will start meandering!
What: Get postcards, write post cards, send postcards, discuss our favourite things about posting... whatever else we want
Why? Because we can.
How: You can come by bus, foot, bicycle, or car! I am planning it earlier in the day for easier accessibility by all these methods.
Who to contact: Keshia- email me at keshiaster@gmail.com; I will give my phone number out by email to those who are for sure coming. |

Thanks for the invite! I will certainly try my best to make it to this meet-up, depending on whether i shall be going to zomBcon in SeaTac or not.
This does sound like fun, though! |

I'm planning on being there! I'll try not to be too overtly squeamish about the gum wall. |

Hey everyone! Guess what! Only just little over a week til our meetup! I am very excited to meet you all!
I was thinking each of us can come with some cards for pen pals we have, people we want to swap with, or whatnot. If you so desire. We can each sign, or write something on these cards to your pals and
then you can send them off! What do you think?
Let me know. Really anything goes for this meet up. This will be the first one I have been too or organized! I'm also a very, go with the flow, type
of person Lets have fun!
I went to Seattle this past Monday and scoped out places for cards... GREAT PLACES FOR THIS!
ALSO!! ****NOTE****** YOU MAY WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CASH. Sometimes it is just easier! |

WHAT A GREAT MEETING!
We had 5 people come join us and it was a FANTASTIC day! We had Laura, Amber, Maggie, and Jesse join us today at the Gumwall at the Pike Place Market.
Jesse had to head out for something else around 1030, but it was great to meet him. I send my sympathies and prayers to his GodMother, him, and his
family/friends.
After this Laura, Amber, and I trapsed around Pike Place, found a bunch of Postcards and got to know each other.
For being the first meeting I have organized and have been to, I would say it turned out fantastically.
After buying more than enough post cards we then headed out to Tully's and grabbed some seats and wrote postcards to some people that was registered
to send posts to, some who are just penpals, and other assortment of peoples. It was a very good day and I am glad we had this meet up.
For ANY of you interested, we are planning another one next year, most likely in March More news to come on that soon!
Thanks to each of you who came! |

Hey Maggie, I did not find his address yet. I believe I found him, but I am not sure, there are two Jesse's that I found. But neither one had much on
their profile to know where they were even from! I will be writing cards out to each of you in the next 48hours! Hahaha Busy weekend! Now onto a super busy week! I hope you had fun at your concert! |
