Hello Swedish Postcrossers! :)
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, I really hope I'm not spamming here.
I would really appreciate your help with translating something to Swedish.
I have a friend who is studying Swedish and who is having a birthday soon. Right now I'm working on her birthday present and I could really use the phrase "I'm blonde, what's your excuse?" in Swedish language.
I'm really afraid to use Google Translate because I have no clue if it's correct or not.
Can anyone please help me with translation so that it actually makes sense?! It would be very, very appreciated. :)
Thanks in advance!

In Swedish you would say: "Jag r blond. Vad r din urskt?". You can also say "jag r blondin. Vad r din urskt?" Which is more emphasis on the fact that that the person has natural blonde hair.

I.e Blonde = blond
blondin = blond/person with blond hair

Thank you so much! :)

Hello Swedish Postcrossers! I was wondering if anyone had a card of Njupeskr (or any other Swedish waterfalls) or a nice skyline view of Stockholm they would be willing to swap with me? :) I can offer lots of cards from the USA, if you're interested.

Hello, may be somebody can help me.
I have got a nice card and on the back is written "De tre silverslantarna". It seems to me like a fairy tale.
Google-translater means on german it is "Die drei Silbergroschen" but I can not find, who the author of the fairy could be. It would be very interesting to me, because I can look, if there is german translation from the fairy tale.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Swedish Postcrossers! I would be interested in direct swap with someone in Swedish :) I used to learn a bit of your language and I find it very interesting! I speak English and German, so it's easy for me to understand some basic Swedish. Maybe someone wants to exchange postcards or letters with someone from Poland?
Tack!

Hello!

I hope it's ok that I'm posting here - in English! :) My name is Kristin, and I'm very active in the forums. My son and I both love Sweden (you can tell from my username how devoted I am to one of your products)! He is currently saving his money to be an exchange student through the American Field Service program to travel to Sweden when he is sixteen. We would love for him to have a penpal with a student in your country - either via letters or email. Does anyone have a son or daughter who may be interested?

Thank you for your consideration!

Happy holidays!
-Kristin / Volvomom

Hello,
I am coming to Stockholm for one day, it is going to be a busy day. Please tell me:
1) how much is postage for cover/envelope/postcard. I understand it is 12 SEK, is it correct postage to anywhere in the world?
2) Can I use 2 domestic stamps for worldwide sending or must these domestic stamps used only for Sweden?
3) Where can I buy stamps?
4) Do you know any shops, where they sell Lisi Martin cards, I know they are sold in Sweden.
Thank you for your help :)

3) Where can I buy stamps? - Nearly everywhere, best is Pressbyrn - other small tobacco shops can charge SEK 7 for a SEK 6 stamp
4) Do you know any shops, where they sell Lisi Martin cards, I know they are sold in Sweden. - Sorry no haven't heard about them

I would be so happy to receive postcards from Sweden. At the moment I only have two postcards, one of them is from Gothenburg. I especially would like to receive postcards from Stockholm and cards showing UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In return I could send you any cards from my offer album in my Signature or also covers, FDCs or mint stamps.

a postcard can cost all between SEK 1 up to SEK 30, but an average postcard with a city view cost approx SEK 10

Swedish stamps cost SEK 14 (worldwide) from April 1 :-( , within Sweden SEK 7

Hello :) If anyone is ordering the "Sweden" card from PostalLove and is interested in swapping, please let me know.

http://www.postallove.com/Postcards/Greetings-from/

I have many different cards to offer, including the Canadian version of this card. My swap album is slightly out of date......I have many more cards to add!

I also am looking for the 'Greetings from...' from Sweden. Any Swedes here who would like to swap?

My albums: https://picasaweb.google.com/108938561057001864309 and for regular touristy cards I can send postcards from Barbados. Thanks
