I was a little reluctant to send official cards from a meetup but got very nice nice thank you's like these:

"Hi guys, How fantastic to receive a card from a meetup. This card makes me feel so much a part of the postcrossing community. Best wishes, Kathryn."

"I love that you took the card to a meetup."

"Hi, thanks for the nice meetup card. I've been to San Francisco but that was in.... oops, now I feel old ;-) it was back in 2001...! I'm going to the first Norwegian meetup that will be in September in Alesund, looking forward to that. All the best, Kari."

"Hello and thank you for this nice card (Grace cathedral, San Francisco), I like it and both stamps are great ! That is really nice to receive a postcard with all these signatures written on your PC meetup. Thanks a lot and I wish you a very nice day,
Fabrice"

"Thanks for the wonderful golden gate bridge and many thanks for the meeting card (some of the names I recognise from the forum) KInd Regards from a very sunny Ireland we had 21 degrees today"

one of my first postcards was from a meet-up in Europe, I was a little confused at first but once I figured out a "meet-up", I was thrilled, so nice of you to send as official(s), and I know, being a recipient of you giving me a Pier 39 seal postcard [thank you], that you have some great postcards, so happy you received such nice replies

it was great meeting everyone, hope you had a safe trip home, hee! hee! "just up the hill", you missed me and Hallie on the way back to our cars falling all over ourselves when we ran into 10 for $1.00 [NICE postcards], maybe it was the sugar rush from our Ghiradelli sundaes but we went out of our minds, first we just picked 10. . . . . .well then, why not another 10. . . . .:) coo-coo for postcards!

BROKE my arm! Last postcards sent Inez and Adrienne before break! I have never broken a bone. My right arm of course (I'm right handed). So glad I made the effort to attend this meeting, you never know what tomorrow brings. You are all very nice. I also took any early bath morning after ER before seeing doctor. Stuck in bathtub for 9 hours, 7:01 am to 4:23 pm. Not that I ess keeping track. My voice is still hoarse from screaming for my neighbors. No show! I did not take a phone in the bathroom with me , dumb! dumb! dumb

OMG Dawn, how did you break it, and why stuck in the bathtub after the ER - no leverage to get out? So sorry to hear the bad news, and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hi Dawn -
Received your card for the students. Did you have all the stickers, or go buy them? It is a great card.

Had 'em :-) and stickers are really fun to put on a postcard when your arm is broken, I gotta join some more "stickers on a card RR" glad you liked the card Inez, I have that same Mary Engelbreit picture framed in my kitchen area, have to remind myself of that often "Anything is Possible", even typing left handed on an iPod keyboard when you're right handed, have a good weekend!

Thank you so much Dawn (mailmandaughter) for the lovely Charley Harper chipmunk card which brightened my mail box on a stormy winter day down here!! Do hope your arm heals quickly and that you can still send out your cards;)
