Favourites of recipient marked

Hello,
I just had an idea (and hope that I have not overlooked another post on the forum suggesting the same), but am not sure as to which extend it's do-able or desired... When I receive an address to send a postcard to I usually check the profile and the postcards wall to see what the recpient might enjoy. Sometimes this person might have already favourited a postcard I sent, so it would be good to see this. Possibly as some sort of sign on the profile, maybe even with a dropdown menu if it's more than one liked postcard, so - if I have this postcard available or could manage to easily get it again - I can make this user happy. Without this option it would be pure luck to see that this user has liked one of my sent postcards.
I hope you understand what I mean. If not I will try to explain further.
Otherwise I of course hope that you find this a good suggestion.
Regards,
Katrin (Broe)

Good idea but in adition, how about this:

Mark all cards that are on the favourite wall as well as in the received wall.
Oh my, that would make postcrossing life so much easier =-)

I always check the favourites and would very much like to send favourites but ...
often people mix already received cards with not received cards and ...aaarg..
I don't need to explain further I think =-)

I do this :o But I see your point and thus I totally agree with your additional suggestion! :)
Thanks!

This idea is also a good one! Perhaps this can be done easier than having to bring it onto the actual profile...

Just stumbled accross a thread that has an alike theme but had no answers so far: https://forum.postcrossing.com/viewthread.php?tid=75986 (I must have overlooked it, otherwise I would have answered to this one...)

This is easy to do already.

Go to the favorites gallery of your receiver, chose your country from the drop down menu. open the search feature in your browser (ctrl + F in most browsers with English/Latin keyboards) and type your username into the search box. Use this as you click through the pages from your country. It takes about 2 seconds per page and is much faster than visually scanning each image.

I don't support adding functionality to the system that is already possible for the user to do manually.
