Addresses lost after Hurray Message

Why is the recipient's address gone after I receive the Hurray message?

Sometimes the Hurray message is so warm and friendly that I would like to suprise the member later with an RAS.

The address is removed due to privacy concerns because you should no longer need it once the postcard has been received and registered.

http://www.postcrossing.com/privacy

Your postal address is only used for the postcard exchanges as explained in the About page. In other words, only Postcrossing and those selected to send you a postcard have access to your address.

The Help section also says

Is it safe to leave my postal address?

Yes! Please be aware of the following:

Your address will only be used for the purposes of postcard exchange. Your address will only be made accessible to those members which have been selected to send you a postcard. No one else will have access to your address from the Postcrossing system.
