Looking for European Postcrossers! :)

Hello Postcrossers! :)

I only have one request for help!

~
My name is Tina and I'm from Slovenia. I've been a member of Postcrossing for now over 4 years and due to my love for postcards, I am writing my final thesis about postcards. To be more precise: Influence of Slovenian postcards.

It would mean the world to me, if you could take a few moments of your time and fill out the survey that is at the connection (link), posted below. Only with your answers I can actually write my thesis, so I need as many answers of good quality as I can get.

Please, only fill out the survey if you are a Postcrossing member, obviously a collector of postcards AND that you are from Europe (your country should be on the list with other European countries (in one of the questions), if not, please don't fill out the survey).

Here is the link: The influence of Slovenian postcards
~
This would be all,
Thank You for reading this whole thing, especially Thank You for filling out my survey and, Have A Wonderful Day! :)

Happy Postcrossing!

I received a lovely green envelope bearing an OWL DOLL and tiny coin. The person who sent it signed it Lilit. I cannot register it,and postcrossing couldn't help due to lack of more information (ie town, complete name, etc.). anyone in the community know whom she may be? I would like to thank her.

My great-grandfathers were from Odessa, and I'd love to receive postcards from there!
And any news from there regarding safety and the Russians...

E is used for sending a postcard or an envelope (up to 20 g) abroad by air.
N is the same but sending by road or sea.

And what does G mean? If it is domestic, can you use 2x G on a postcard abroad?

G if also for abroad airmail. If you send a card without an envelope, it is no need for the second stamp.

Here you can see what every letter on the stamps means.
http://ukrposhta.ua/en/dovidka/nominalna-vartist-liternix-poshtovix...

Price for any international postcard/letter up to 20g = 0,70 USD (by airmail) or 0,60 USD (by regular mail).

Hello!

I'm from Austria, but I currently live in Kharkiv in Ukraine for one semester :)

I'm trying to organise a meetup because I would love to get to know some Ukrainian postcrossers. I wrote about it in the meetup forum, here's the link:

https://forum.postcrossing.com/viewthread.php?tid=119108

I suggested meeting on the 21st of April, but that was only an idea and I'm basically free to meet any other time as well. I'll stay in Kharkiv until June/July.

If anyone is in the Kharkiv region and would like to come, or knows someone who could be interested, that would be so great! :)

Best regards,
Irene

Hello,

Could you please tell me how much it is currently to send a postcard from Ukraine by air to Europe and the world in hryvnia? Is it a different stamp?
Thank you in advance!

Hello!
The cost of sending a postcard to any country in the world is 1 dollar at the rate of the National Bank of Ukraine.
You can see the daily rate here:
https://bank.gov.ua/control/en/curmetal/detail/currency?period=daily

For example, today price is 26,31 hryvnia.
You can use any stamps rated in letters or hryvnia, or fixed stamp "" valued as 1 dollar.

Hi dear postcrossers,
I'm Davide from Novara, Italy.

I'm searching for:
- maxicard (or postcard with matching stamp) dedicated to the Sailor's wife monument in Odessa;
- Dnipro's metro token (https://metro.dp.ua/fare.html)

I'm also interested to currency and used transportation tickets.
If anyone want to swap, please U2U me :)
Thank you!
