There was a special cancellation mark!? I missed out! :( I didn't know the group's cards were being collected in the letter trays on Sunday morning (newbie mistake on my part). I should have left my small stack of cards with the rest :(

Thank you Lotty for thinking of me, and thank you all who signed the card! (I wonder where that card had been, it's postmarked on October 27 and arrived here in Finland yesterday :duh: , but I'm glad it finally arrived!)

It was a coincedence. Some cards have the cancelation, some not.

you couldn't get enough Modern Times postcards because the others in Bielefeld (not you, of course!) were too greedy?

Here's a special offer for you:

One of the official cards that I mailed from the Bielefeld meeting at the end of October Just arrived. It took 76 days to go from Germany to Poland. That has to be a record of some sort.

People complain about the postal system in Canada but now I can tell them it is the same in Germany too or maybe it was the Polish postal system that held on to it.

That was my last one from Bielefeld to arrive. I still have one expired mailed from Amsterdam going to Russia. But then in the last 365 days I have had 5 expire while travelling to Russia
