Hi!
Could someone help me with my UNESCO collection? I'm still missing these two Hungarian sites:
- Caves of Aggtelek Karst and Slovak Karst
- Tokaj Wine Region Historic Cultural Landscape

If anyone has a card showing one of these sites andwould like to swap please let me know

Hello guys! I'm spending New Year in Budapest :) Do you know where to buy this kind of cards? And how much they cost?

http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/HU-42369

I'll be grateful for tips and addresses!

In book shops like Libri or Alexandra. They can be found in any shopping mall :) They cost around 250 HUF (0.80 EUR).

Thanks for the info!

Merry Xmas!

For those traveling to Budapest: those multiples can be found in bookstores like Lira, Libri and Alexandra. In Lira they cost 150 HUF, in Libri - 160 HUF, in Alexandra 199 HUF, in souvenir stores near Vorosmarty square - from 200-400 HUF. All prices for last week :) In the internet shop the cards are on sale for 120 HUF! Hope it helps!

Wow, I either remembered it wrong (to be frank I haven't bought too much of them before) or they have lowered the prices. :) It's a nice surprise though!

Hello,

I will be in Budapest next week and I´m wondering where I could buy postcards like these:

http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/HU-28354

http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/HU-50651

http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/HU-45857

http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/HU-44548

I hope that they are still available.

I also wanted to ask where a good place in Budapest is to buy some beautiful and not expensive (and not touristy) postcards.

My last question would be: How much is the postage for a postcard from Hungary to Germany.

I hope that someone can help me and answer my questions!

Thank you very much in advance!!

Greetings

Judith

Hello! I am going on a 2 month European trip with my boyfriend and we're planning on going to Budapest for the first time. We will probably spend a couple of days of there (maybe 1/2 a week tops) and are looking for any advice/suggestions, etc.

Thank you for your help!

I enjoyed my visit to Budapest years ago, and want to come back and see the rest of the country.

My alternative is to introduce your country (and the rest of the world) to classrooms in Salinas and throughout the world. My request is if there are classrooms interested in joining the Sandy Martin Cards4Kids, please email me at postcards4classrooms@gmail.com.

The project works like this - I send one postcard a month to the classroom, and also have a postcrosser send a postcard through my swap with them.

The classrooms will also participate in a swap of postcards with another classroom for World Post Day, October 9, 2013. The students create their own postcards and mail the classroom cards together in a package. so it is not a penpal program. I am working on funding for postage for this part, but it would be the only expense for the school. It is open to classes from primary or elementary school through the equivalent of our high school, about 6 years old to 18 years. Ages would be matched as closely as possible.

Our students have very poor geography knowledge, and do not travel from their homes. I am hoping to help the teachers with the postcards.

I hope this is not a spam message, and I get lots of replies! Thank You.

Hey there, szia,
can anyone tell me the current postage rates for postcards? I don't know how much it differs, but assuming it's something like Europe/Rest of the world, I'd like to know the price for both options.

Thanks, perfect! There should be something like a central postage database on postcrossing – or am I too late and just missed it? :D

Hey :) I hope this is the right place to write:
Im searching for Hungarian penpals because Ill spend my exchange semester in Budapets next year and my relatives are originally from a small town near the Balken Lake. I would love to get to know some Hungarian to begin a long penfriendship and who I could meet next year maybe in real!
Im 21, study cultural studies and love to go to museums, concerts, plays in theatres etc. So, if you know someone or you are interested, Im happy to hear from you!!

Hi
Can anybody help me with this card please!

6.jpg - 74kB

On the back side is written: Készült a "Saffi" c. film alapján 1985

I want to know the name of the film if possible, or name of fairy or children book.

Thanks in advance.
