See who sent the card

When I reigster a Card I have recieved I would like to say something personal to the user who send the Card.
The Problem is, that I only see the users Information when I registered the Card.
It would be a good improvement when a user Information would come up when I entered the Card id and before I send the Information.

A lot of members do register a postcard without a message and then go to the sending member's profile page and send a detailed thank you message.

The problem is that we don't want that people click on a link to go to that person's profile... since this is distracting from the act of registering the postcard. You can imagine it: you click the link to check the senders profile, and perhaps the person says something interesting on it (which you'll immediately google to know more about), or shows you a link you'd like to check out, or you want to peruse their favourite cards... and without realising it, you've clicked a few links and wandered off somewhere else, without actually noticing that you've forgotten to register the card, which should be your priority!

Also, what if the person says something on the profile with which you don't agree? For instance a political or religious statement, or something that goes against something you hold dear... We believe at least some people would actually take "revenge" by not registering the postcard.

All of these problems have to be taken into account when implementing the register page.

No need to know details about the sender BEFORE registering.
That's pointless. You got the opportunity to send a kind message AFTERWARDS.
